United Airlines “Therabody” branded amenity kit. Best amenity kit in the sky.
POLARIS Suite itself and the Saks 5th Avenue bedding - best bedding in the sky by far.

This was an extremely comfortable flight with bedding provided by Saks Fifth Avenue. They even provided a gel pillow for passenger comfort. I was near the nose of the plane in seat 2L.
We had a dedicated flight attendant, the purser herself, for seats 1A-5L, and a second, lead flight attendant for 6A-12D. The offered dinner was delicious. I had the braised beef with peppercorns, gravy, broccolini, and mashed potatoes with a 9.0/10.0 score.
Breakfast, however, was lackluster with a choice of eggs or steel-cut oatmeal. I had the latter only to find it loaded with raisins and fruit pieces. Disgusting, really. At least the side dish of fresh fruit was decent. 2.0/10.0.
United Airlines’ long-haul breakfast option - Steel-cut oatmeal with seeds and agave apples. Accompanied by Chobani Greek yogurt and fresh fruit plus a warm croissant.
The flight attendants were extremely attentive, and the flight was downright cozy. United Airlines has, contrary to popular belief, improved their offered food on long-haul flights and indeed their entire overall experience on long-haul travel.
The dessert cart was wheeled around shortly after dinner was presented, and I was planning on the sundae, but upon the offering of chocolate cheesecake, I just had to take the cheesecake. 8.5/10.0
The landing in Berlin was very soft and incredibly professional. All due credit to the pilots. 9.0/10.0

United is quickly becoming the best airline in the U.S. and one of the best in the world, ranked with Singapore, Etihad, Emirates., Qatar, ANA, and Lufthansa and it shows. A majority of whom are Star Alliance members.
Delta is slipping and American ranks near the bottom of any list. United, as of this year, has the largest aircraft fleet in the world and the service is truly at least starting to reflect that. United is currently making two international airports as de facto and eventually official hubs for farther reach in the far East and far West. This wikll make them the first U.S. Airline with true international hubs. In this case, Tokyo-Narita and Frankfurt, shared with Lufthansa.

The final score for this flight was a well-earned and solid 8.0/10.0.
