The Grand Preview

Apron view of the Grand Hyatt SFO

Welcome back to Brooke In The Air travel! Today we present some highlights as a preview for this weekend’s 4th of July trip! The review of the Grand Hyatt Hotel at SFO, the only 5-star hotel inside an airport!

The Grand Hyatt also presents great planespotting views depending on the suite or room selected in addition to having over 350 rooms and 22 suites. Brooke will be staying in the Grand Suite for my two nights, 7/4-7/6.

From the Hyatt itself, “Grand Hyatt offers 351 soundproof guest rooms, including 22 suites, feature floor-to-ceiling windows that provide stunning views of the Bay and airport. Each room is meticulously designed to offer a serene and comfortable retreat, ensuring a restful stay for all guests. “

In terms of food, the site continues, “Indulge in a variety of dining options during your stay:

  • Quail & Crane Restaurant: Experience a handshake of East and West cuisines in an elegant setting.

  • Twin Crafts Bar: Relax with a selection of handcrafted cocktails and light bites.

  • Twin Crafts Market: Open 24 hours, offering a range of grab-and-go options and in-room dining services.”

This is essentially a mileage run for Brooke, as she is only a few thousand PQPs shy of Premier 1K status and this is only a weekend trip, with a flight to Denver, connecting on to San Francisco, and a direct nonstop flight back to CLE. Considering Brooke (and all of us) is moving to the Bay Area the 17th, this is the second to last time she is flying out from CLE, with the last time being the morning of the 17th.
