Norse Atlantic Boeing 777-300 on the tarmac

Norse Atlantic Airways, the latest European startup airline offering long-haul nonstop service between European cities and North America, is ending its flights out of Berlin, Germany, specifically Berlin-Brandenburg Airport. The last flight out of Berlin looks to be October 27, 2023. Norse Atlantic offered 3-weekly flights to Los Angeles, California (LAX), and Fort Lauderdale, Florida (FLL) and daily service to New York-JFK, which was also served from Norse Atlantic’s hubs at Oslo (OSL), Paris (Charles De Gaul - CDG), Rome (FCO), and London-Gatwick (LGW). Norse Atlantic has been thoroughly and slowly terminating service out of Berlin, since first starting last year (2022). Both Fort Lauderdale and Los Angeles have been eliminated, with only New York-JFK being serviced through October, then that will stop. No official reason has been given. Partnership connections will still be valid, it just means passenger who want to fly Norse to the United States will have to connect to one of their other major hubs, such as Paris or Rome.
