Blog #14: 2/3/23: Aviation Blog: Airlines/Aircraft I’ve Traveled; a Look Back

Delta Air Lines’ Boeing 737 Coming into Land at Los Angeles International Airport (KLAX)

Welcome to the next Brooke in the Air blog! Today, we take a look back at some of the various airlines I’ve traveled so far.

Unfortunately, several of these airlines I’ve traveled on were before I started my travel blog and blog.

I do recall one of the first planes I traveled on, as a child, being the McDonnell Douglas DC-8 onboard Delta Air Lines.

I remember being in awe of the internal size of the aircraft, and in sheer, utter, amazement at the sound and power of the engines. Below is a short list of some of the aircraft I’ve experienced.

Delta Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 coming into land at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)

I took the 737-600/700/800/900 on Delta, United, and often Southwest Airlines on short-medium hops from Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport (KCLE) to Chicago-O’Hare International Airport (KORD), KSEA to KGEG, KSEA to KSFO, and similar. The “Next Generation” series of the 737 all look very similar so I am including them in one paragraph here.

Boeing 777-300ER Bottom-view showcasing raked wingtips

I travel on the 777-300ER often on Air Canada to Calgary. The 777-300ER is one of the most common widebody jets in existence. I took the Signature class on Air Canada and it was beautiful!

Boeing 78710 Dreamliner on initial rollout

Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner, I flew the 787-9 Dreamliner on Air Canada from Calgary International Airport to Toronto-Pearson International Airport. It was one of the most comfortable seats I’ve ever had the pleasure of partaking in.
