Arizona Flight Reviews
Welcome back to Brooke In The Air, this weekend we are featuring the Arizona focused flight reviews.
United Flight 1673
Review
CLE-ORD
737-MAX 8
Duration: 57 minutes
After getting off to yet another very late start (delayed by .5 hours), the service was understandably abbreviated as we did not take off for at least 35 minutes after our scheduled departure. But upon landing in Chicago, we taxied for at least 22 minutes before finally parking at the gate. Everyone was in a hurry and it showed in the mad rush to get off the plane. It was a clusterfudge of a landing and taxi procedure but I think that was on Air Traffic Control.
Score: 6.3/10.0
United Flight UA 602
ORD-PHX
8:20 CST - 10:38 MST
10/11/2024
Duration: 3 hours, 28 minutes
Aircraft: Boeing 737-800
Score: 6.5/10.0
After a late departure (due to international arrivals of passengers), we rather quickly got underway and quickly rose to our cruising altitude of 36,000 feet. About an hour in to the flight, meal service was served- beef sandwich with dressing and peppers, it was delicious! The service itself was exemplary as usual, I loved it. What was apparent was how different the first class passengers were treated between row 1 and row 8.
Amazing how quickly service diminishes in first class.
Final score: 6.5/10.0
The final score would have been higher but the aircraft was very old and it showed.
There are no reviews of my return flights as I flew threw the same airports (aside from PHX) and the crews offered unremarkable service while the aircraft were: PHX-IAH (Phoenix to Houston): Boeing 737-900. IAH-CLE (Houston to Cleveland): Boeing 737-800. I’ve reviewed these aircraft before on several trips.
